Steel wool discs and coils, traditional chemical crystallization
Steel wool is the consumable for traditional chemical crystallization: it activates the chemical-thermal reaction between the
liquid or powdered crystallizing agent and the limestone surface, forming a glossy protective layer. It is available in discs (0 and 2 grit) and in 6 kg rolls (0000 to 2 grit). The finer the grit (0000), the glossier the finish. Coarse grits (2, 3) are reserved for stripping and restoration.
