Chicopee has built its reputation in professional hygiene with the super washcloth. Available in several colors, this washcloth allows you to partition areas and maintenance to avoid cross-contamination . The super washcloth is available in yellow for the kitchen catering area , pink for high-risk sanitary areas , blue for high surfaces , green for high sanitary surfaces and white for other uses. Of course, these classifications are not set in stone and each profession can redefine the association of washcloth colors with an area or task.

Benefits of Chicopee Super Washcloths
Non-woven cloths made from polyester and viscose, such as the Chicopee Super Cloth, have the advantage of being bacteriostatic in most cases. This means that bacteria cannot grow on the cloth itself. It therefore limits microbial development, unlike some other historical tools such as sponges or cotton cloths.
Chicopee Super Washcloths can be washed even at high temperatures and can therefore be reused several times, which is not yet the case with sponges.
The cost of use is therefore minimal.
Chicopee Super Cloths are also food contact and HACCP approved. They also have a better grip, easy rinsing and quick drying. The micro-perforated structure allows for more effective cleaning by limiting the use of detergent.
Super washcloth and color code
The advantage of washcloths is that they offer a range of differentiated colours that allow you to compartmentalise the different areas of your premises. By assigning a washcloth colour to each area, you limit the risk of bacteria being transmitted from one place to another. If you use a sponge for cleaning the toilets, you have no guarantee that it will not end up in your kitchen...
Conversely, if you put a color code in place with yellow for food surfaces in the kitchen, pink for sanitary surfaces, blue for mobile surfaces in tertiary areas, you limit cross-contamination.
A color code system requires at least 3 colors but you can of course add green and white if you want to go even further in your "breakdown" of your maintenance processes.
This model can be transferred to any establishment and even to your home if you wish...
