The Centaur scale range
Rope-operated extension ladders. The extension length varies from 6.90 m to 17.55 m for working heights ranging from 7.8 m to 18.45 m for 3-section extension ladder models.
For 2-section sliding ladders, the extended length varies from 4.95 m to 11.95 m for respective maximum working heights of 5.85 to 12.85 m.
Convertible ladders with 2 or 3 sections. These ladders can be used in 3 positions for the 3-section version and 2 positions for the 2-section version. For the 2-section version, the positions are: a V-shaped position as a self-supporting ladder and as a simple leaning ladder. For the 3-section version, the third section can be deployed in a self-supporting position.
Telescopic ladders These ladders allow several uses as a simple ladder, self-supporting or on slopes.
Several important points on the safe use of ladders.
The angle. The angle of the ladder is crucial. If it's too steep, it risks slipping on the ground or against the wall. If it's too vertical, the ladder will easily tip over, pulling the user backward.

Instructions for using Centaure Duarib ladders:
For proper use, it is advisable to follow these recommendations.
Before each use:
It is important to check the condition of your ladder before each use, i.e.: the uprights, the rungs, the feet, the connecting pieces, the mechanisms and the ropes.
Positioning of the plans:
For sliding ladders, it is the first assembled section that must be placed on the ground.
Tilt your ladder properly:
For your safety, the angle of your ladder is very important. If the ladder is too steep, it will slip, and if it's too vertical, it will tend to tip backward. For optimal angle, the minimum angle should be approximately 65° and the maximum 75° .
For your safety on a ladder:
When you are on the ladder, please leave at least three rungs free in front of you so that they can serve as a guardrail. Place the ladder firmly against a stable surface and ensure it rests securely.
If your ladder has multiple sections, make sure they are properly engaged.
Always respect the maximum load capacity of the ladders.
Details on the use of Centaur scales:
Ladders should be used as a means of access, not as workstations ; that is the role of scaffolding and work platforms. Except for simple access, the use of ladders is tolerated.
- if no other means with guardrails can be used due to technical impediment.
- or if you meet the following conditions simultaneously: low risk, short duration work and non-repetitive work.
