Disposable tablecloth materials
There is now a wide range of quality disposable tablecloths.
The most common and historical is of course the
paper tablecloth that comes in rolls or format. The best-selling paper tablecloth is the 30X40 set, which makes it possible to treat a cutlery in catering.
This is the most common quality used to make 30x40 placemats and tablecloths in format (Example: 60x60, 80x120 ... etc).
The grammage is generally 60 grs / m2. In most cases the manufacture of paper tablecloths comes from recycled wadding. The texture can be smooth or benefit from an embossing giving a relief to the paper.
The non-woven web and the spunbound
New materials have appeared, including the non woven several years ago.
It is tablecloths have attracted caterers, communities (Festivals and ceremonies) but also the particular dice their launch.
Indeed, the
disposable nonwoven or nonwoven web has the advantage of being able to replace the fabric in many cases without having its disadvantages (washing the linen, guarantee of perfect hygiene, cost ... etc) while preserving a quality of service (visual and holding) very sufficient in many cases (weddings, reception, parties ...).
The nonwoven is more particularly known by the name Celisoft, Airlaid or Walkisoft has a basis weight between 55 and 60 grs / m2.
The spunbond is a new texture arrived in 2014 is represents a new alternative in the field of disposable. Indeed, it lacked a product more durable than the nonwoven and that brings a "service" more qualitative.
The spunbond which has the interest to be as, if not more resistant than the traditional nonwoven is also wipeable in order to prolong its use.
