Using the scraper

A scraper is above all a professional tool and its use presents risks for the user and can cause damage to the surface in the event of improper handling.

The scraper should always be used in one direction . You should therefore not move backwards with it in order to limit the possibility of scratches. After work, the blade must be completely cleaned.

Information on Unger blades

The scraper blades are made of carbon steel which has been sharpened to make them extremely sharp .
The sharpening process is repeated 4 successive times. The blades are treated against oxidation in order to limit the effects of rust over time. The slides are packaged in waxed paper packaging.
This allows easier handling and perfect conservation away from humidity, a source of corrosion. The use of scraper blades presents a risk to the user and can cause serious injury.
It is therefore the user's responsibility to ensure proper handling and storage away from children and people not authorized to handle these sharp tools.
