How to choose your telescopic pole
Unger and Lewi are two German brands with professional know-how in the manufacture of telescopic poles for professionals.
The range of telescopic poles that we offer is one of the most extensive and above all the most professional on the height maintenance market.
The telescopic pole allows working at great heights but in complete safety.
The fixing system
There are different systems for attaching tools to the telescopic pole.
Compatibility between brands is possible with certain adaptations for certain tools.
You must therefore carefully check the compatibility of the accessories that you wish to attach to the pole because in fact, the fixing systems are not all compatible with each other.
We can distinguish the Ergotec fixing system from Unger which has a safety cone for locking the tools on the pole. This system allows you to neither fall nor turn during work.
The ErgoTec safety cone is standard on all poles in the OptiLoc and Teleplus range.
The Lewi poles have a simple cone with screw which again ensures secure fixing.
The Unger tool attachment from the Ergotec range can be adapted to Lewi poles provided you change the Lewi cone supplied as standard with the 12104LW adapter on which you can then put the Ergotect NCAN0 cone.
The Unger telescopic pole system puts everything safely within reach
Telescopic poles of different lengths with ergonomic handles allow you to work safely while remaining on the ground – without ladders and saving time and money.

Avoid working on a ladder
• With Unger telescopic poles, you work safely up to a height of 10 m, while remaining on the ground.
• The Unger safety cone makes all work safer, because the tools lock into place and cannot fall.
• Most ladder accidents are caused by improper handling, not damage.
• Always check if cleaning is safe while remaining on the ground. Otherwise, present your client with safe alternatives and their costs.
• Always insist on working conditions that comply with safety standards. Do not risk your life just because the client does not accept certain services!
• Always choose the safest route. Ladders should only be your first choice for the sake of ease.
• Under certain circumstances, ladders become extremely unsafe: Rain makes the floor slippery, uneven floors or dirt can cause a ladder to wobble or even fall.
