What does the spray method consist of?
The main purpose of the spray method is to renovate and remove flooring protected by an emulsion.
Modern floors are protected by emulsions or factory protections which degrade over time.
Origin of protection degradation
The main cause is of course traffic but also service carts. They generate shoe marks (black marks) but also degrade the shine by altering the surface condition with a multitude of scratches.
These scratches no longer allow a perfectly smooth surface condition which gives the very shiny "weet look" appearance that we obtain when leaving the factory or after treatment with a metallization.
Another cause can also be the use of a non-neutral cleaning product (pH close to 7) which will therefore chemically attack the surface and degrade it over time.
The spray method for periodic repair
Following all these attacks on protection, there are two options:
- Do nothing and let the film degrade but this will at some point involve completely stripping the surface and re-waxing (metalizing) the floor. An expensive and, above all, time-consuming operation while blocking access to these surfaces.
- Implement a spray maintenance method whose objective will be to “repair” and “clean” the surface simultaneously or staggered.
In this context, it is necessary to put in place an intervention schedule which allows, using a
high or very high speed single-brush (rotation speed greater than 400 rpm) to renovate the surface and thus maintain the shine. .
You will thus be able to postpone
floor stripping operations and above all offer visitors a floor condition conducive to conveying a clean image of your establishment.
Professional method spray products
There are two main focuses on these products.
The formulation can instead be oriented towards regeneration with a higher emulsion concentration. In this case, renovation is preferred.
The formulation can be oriented towards a cleaning action and in this case it is the concentration of cleaning surfactant which will be favored.
Spray total method:
Add the product to the spray system of the single-brush machine, equipped with the appropriate disc, and clean the floor using the spray method.
If the disc is stained, use the other clean side or change discs. Polish for a uniform satin appearance.
Spray partial method:
Add the product to the spray system of the single brush, equipped with the appropriate disc, and clean the floor, spraying the product only on dirty areas. After a brief drying time, buff the entire surface to give it a more uniform appearance.
