Dual speed, two single-brush machines in one

The dual-speed single-brush machine can therefore be a solution in this case by offering you a doubling of the basic speed by changing the selector present on the machine. The low speed and high speed ratio of the machine are in this case a ratio of 2 with for example 180 rpm and 360 rpm. The risk on this type of machine is that the user forgets to change the speed before the work to be carried out and therefore chooses the wrong speed. In the case where the user remains on the low speed, this will only have an impact on the quality of the work if it requires high speed, but conversely if the user remains on the high speed while starting a job requiring a high torque and therefore low speed, it is the motor in this case which can be weakened.

Stripping thermoplastic or tile floors

In this case you will need to use low speed. You will need to select a thermoplastic or PVC floor stripper or a hard floor stripper . Stripping can be done with a black, brown or blue abrasive disc (for fragile surfaces), and possibly with a nylon brush for hard floors, especially if there are large joints in the floor.

As a general rule, the "high speed" on a single-disc speed machine will rarely exceed 400 rpm. In fact, the differential between the low speed and the high speed of the machine is made by a selector allowing the low speed to be doubled.
