Why choose a wall-mounted liquid soap dispenser?

You have opted for a wall-mounted liquid soap dispenser, but to guarantee perfect hygiene, it will be essential to respect minimum maintenance rules.
The soap reservoir and dispenser ( pump rinsing ) must be cleaned regularly to ensure acceptable hygiene.
Cleaning the dispenser prevents germs from developing both inside the reservoir and on the external part that comes into contact with users' hands. Clean with a cloth and a disinfectant cleaner.

Which liquid soap for which dispenser?

Choosing a suitable soap will allow for the implementation of a handwashing solution within a limited budget and not captive to a cartridge system.

The right pump for the appropriate flow rate

The dispenser for soap or bulk gel must be suitable for the product you intend to use it for. Therefore, there are different types of dispenser pumps designed for different flow rates and formulations of liquid soap, foam, hand sanitizer gel, or hydroalcoholic solution . The viscosity of these product categories varies, and a pump designed for a very fluid hydroalcoholic solution will not be suitable for a gel. Conversely, if you put a very fluid soap or a hydroalcoholic solution in a dispenser designed for a gel formula, your dispenser will leak. Therefore, when purchasing the device, make sure you understand what type of product it is designed for.

Should the soap dispenser be screwed or glued to the wall?

Most soap dispensers come with both types of fixings : wall plugs and screws (which will need to be adapted to the surface, of course – plasterboard, solid wall, metal surface, tiles, etc.) and double-sided adhesive strips .
In the case of a dispenser where the liquid soap dispensing paddle needs to be pulled towards the user, screw fixing is the most common to prevent it from being pulled out .

In this case, since the user pushes on the wall-mounted unit, it won't be at risk of being pulled out. However, you must ensure that the soap dispenser is installed on a perfectly clean, grease-free, smooth surface, free of any imperfections, thus maximizing the adhesive surface. The dispenser can also be glued using a specific adhesive compatible with the surface.

My dispenser is no longer dispensing soap?

The wall-mounted liquid soap dispenser works with a manually operated pump that dispenses a dose of soap with each press. If your dispenser is no longer dispensing soap, there are several things to check:
-> The tank is still sufficiently full (this seems obvious but it needs to be checked)
-> Deposits have formed at the bottom of the reservoir, preventing the soap from flowing. In this case, wash and rinse the reservoir.
The liquid soap I'm using is too thick and unsuitable (flow problem) for the type of pump in the dispenser. Check the manufacturer's recommendations for a suitable product.
-> The pump in your dispenser is clogged (due to a long period of inactivity, for example) or worn out. Disassemble it, clean it, or replace it if necessary.
-> The paddle mechanism that operates the pump is broken. Repair or replace the distributor.
