Dasri bag and the NF X 30.501 standard

The design of the Dasri bag aims to:
- To obtain a seal with the aim of reducing the risk of external contamination.
- To guarantee a waste treatment solution in strict compliance with hygiene.
- To guarantee proper use, particularly when filling the bag , by limiting filling by printing on the bag.
- The bag must respect the environment in order to be in line with the requirements of incineration in order to limit harmful atmospheric emissions.

The DASRI bag meets design requirements:

- The bag must have dimensions standardized by standard NF EN 13592 : length, width, thickness.
- The volume of a Dasri bag must have a volume less than or equal to 110L.
- The closing system of the Dasri bag must be adapted and easy to use , which generally implies the choice of the sliding link solution, certainly more expensive than a classic link but meeting this constraint perfectly.
- Color: the exterior of the bags must be uniformly “yellow” in color.
- The filling limit: limit indicated on the visible printed side of the bag by a line.

Dasri bag, characteristics:

- The Dasri bag is manufactured according to specifications concerning the constituent raw materials .
- The dimensions of the half perimeter and the length of the bag are standardized and cannot differ from one manufacturer to another
- The nominal thickness in µm of the bag must meet the sealing and resistance requirements for the reasons mentioned above.
- The type must also be specified with or without bellows, star welding, etc.
