How to glue a tactile tile?
Installing a tactile nail is quick and easy. However, you must be meticulous to ensure that the slab holds well, otherwise you risk transforming this safety element into a potential threat.
Before tackling the installation of a strip, you must first degrease the interior surface and the installation support, which must be suitable for receiving this equipment in terms of flatness and adhesiveness.
It is recommended to place the tactile nail 50 centimeters from the obstacle , level or any change in the traffic lane.
Then, use the ready-to-use
two-component polyurethane glue , composed of 5 kg of polyurethane glue and 0.7 kg of hardener. This two-component glue, made on the basis of a polyurethane resin, is suitable for many surfaces.
At a minimum of 5°C, the polymerization time after installation of the slab is 24 hours for opening to pedestrian traffic and 48 hours to 72 hours for opening to heavy traffic. You will find on Voussert.fr a wide choice of
exterior tactile mats and non-slip
interior tactile mats to facilitate the movement of disabled, visually impaired or blind people.
