Two component polyurethane adhesive

Two-component polyurethane adhesive is for all interior or exterior rubber floor coverings in tiles or rolls, rubber carpet coverings and synthetic turf.
Pot of polyurethane glue 5 kg + hardener 0.7 kg, i.e. a kit of 5.7 kg.

Benefits:

- Suitable for gluing on many supports and for coatings such as concrete and agglomerates.
- Recommended for intensive use.
- Can be subjected to significant temperature variations thanks to its flexibility.

Laid:

Polymerization time at 5°C minimum: after 24 hours for opening to foot traffic, after 48 to 72 hours for opening to heavy traffic.

Open time: about 20 minutes
Recommended operating temperature: +15°C and +25°C
At temperatures below +15°C, polymerization takes place normally but the kinetics are reduced
Indicative consumptions:
- 300 to 500 gr/m² for rubber coatings with sanded smooth backing or PVC (little plasticized)
- 500 to 600 gr/m² for textile coverings or synthetic turf
- 1000 to 1200 gr/m² for rubber nipple facings
Setting time: 6 to 8 hours

Approximate consumption:

Snow removal: 1 to 1.2 kg/m2
Priasport 0.9 to 1 kg/m2
Pill carpet: 0.7 to 0.8 kg/m2
Safety tile 1/ 1.2 kg/m2

Media
They must be :
Healthy, sound, clean, free from grease, plaster residue or cement and thoroughly dusted.
Dry, when laying, the moisture of cement-based substrates should not be greater than 3%.
Not exposed to rising damp.
Match in hardness and strength to the particular use for which they are intended.
Properly processed and prepared:
- concrete slabs and cement screeds: using P2 or P3 smoothing coatings following the destination of the premises
- Asphalt screeds or bituminous coatings: generally suitable for direct bonding
- anhydrite screeds: contact us
- metal supports: careful degreasing
Conform to the CSTB professional rules (DTU or CPT)
Preparation of the mixture
The 2 components of the glue are delivered in pre-packaged packaging.
Stir the resin hardener vigorously, preferably using a suitable helical mixer on a P = 500 drill.
W minimum and turning at 300/600 rpm.
The mixture should be perfectly homogeneous throughout the mass of the product which will then have a uniform color.
Any imperfect mixture would result in a partial crosslinking of the product, and consequently, specific gluing defects, the resin
having by itself no sticky power.
Hardness of use of the mixture (pot life): about 30 minutes
After this time, the process of chemical hardening accelerates with the release of heat and the product deviates
quickly unusable.
Application of glue
By simply gluing the support with a spatula with more or less important teeth depending on the material to be installed and the quality of the support (spatula
A2 or B1)

Exfoliation time
The coating can be displayed immediately after sizing, but the initial setting is higher if there is a waiting time
about 5 minutes.
