Disinfectant degreaser

There are two possibilities in disinfectant cleaners.

Food disinfectant degreasers whose pH will be alkaline and whose function will be to degrease simultaneously with disinfection.
There are also food disinfectant descalers whose function is to remove the limescale film present on floors and surfaces.
The use of these two formulas is generally done alternately .
Another possibility if your water is softened and limescale is not a problem is to alternate with a powerful degreaser.

Application by a cleaning and disinfection center

The use of disinfectant cleaners in the kitchen or food industry is most often done via a cleaning and disinfection center which will guarantee you perfect dosage (to comply with standards) and professional effectiveness.
Indeed, any disinfection standard is linked to a percentage concentration and an action time (contact time). If one of these conditions is not met, the standard(s) displayed on the product will not be ensured. This is therefore the worst configuration because the user thinks they are meeting the specifications, which turns out not to be the case.

Biocide regulations on disinfectants in detail:

• Classify biocidal products by product type (see Annex V of the Regulation) and specific uses.
• Use biocidal active substances from suppliers registered on the ECHA list in accordance with Article 95 of the Biocide Regulation.
• Comply with the labelling conditions for biocidal products provided for in Article 69 of the Regulation.
• Demonstrate the antimicrobial activity of the product under normal conditions of use according to current standards and guides.
• Make mandatory annual declarations and declarations when placing a biocidal product on the market.

Disinfectants and type of biocides:

Product type 1 (TP1) : Human hygiene
Products in this category are biocidal products used for human hygiene, applied to or in contact with human skin, with the primary purpose of disinfecting the skin.
Product Type 2 (TP2) : Disinfectants and algaecides not intended for direct application to humans or animals
Products used to disinfect surfaces, materials, equipment and furniture that are not used in direct contact with food or animal feed.
Product Type 4 (TP4) : Food and feed contact surfaces
Products used to disinfect equipment, containers, consumer utensils, surfaces or conduits used for the production, transport, storage or consumption of food or animal feed intended for humans or animals.
