Manual
If the dishwasher is equipped with a detergent dispenser, this dispenser must obviously be switched off during filling to avoid mixing the detergent (alkaline) with the descaling product (acid). This would indeed have a contradictory action.
Once the dispenser has been switched off (the indicator must be off), you can fill the dishwasher with water. Then manually add the liquid or powder descaler in accordance with the dosages indicated.
Then run your machine for a few cycles so that all of the solution flows through the arms and organs of the machine.
You can take the opportunity to pass baskets of glassware or other kitchen utensils not sensitive to acid (do not put aluminum) in order to descale them too.
Then proceed to drain your machine.
Switch the wall dispenser back on. Restart the filling of the machine. You can then pass the baskets of dishes previously descaled to rinse them permanently.
Dosage:
For descaling machines: recommended dosage per liter of water:
- In the washing cycle: Dilute by 5% to 10%, i.e. 50 to 100 ml per liter of water. Leave the machine to operate, water temperature 55 ° C to 60 ° C, 15 to 30 minutes in the product washing cycle, off or not. Drain and rinse.
- Outside the washing cycle: Dilute by 10% to 15%, i.e. 100 to 150 ml per liter of water. Spray on inaccessible walls and areas.
Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse.
- Soils and surfaces: Dilute from 1% to 5% per liter of water. Apply to floors and surfaces to be cleaned. Leave to act for 5 min and rinse. Do not use Liquid Descaler on marble or stone surfaces.
