Airlaid, Dunisoft, Linstyle, Dunilin, Célisoft: what are the differences?
There are several qualities of non-woven towels available on the professional market. The most common is airlaid, a material that offers a good finish, durability, and wiping power. Its weight varies from 50 to 60 g/m² depending on the manufacturer: this is the first criterion to check.
There are many lesser-known brands offering high-quality airlaid towels because producing them doesn't represent an insurmountable investment. In fact, manufacturers purchase master rolls of airlaid fabric (sometimes in different colors and weights) and then proceed with cutting, folding, and packaging. This table summarizes the main players and non-woven materials that closely resemble fabric.

| Linstyle | Tork | More flexible and thicker, closer to textiles | Restaurant, hotel, catering | €0.12 to €0.20 excluding VAT |
| Dunilin | Duni | Dense, textile embossing, very soft | Gourmet dining, events | €0.22 to €0.33 excluding VAT |
| Elegance (Dunilin decorated) | Duni | The one from Dunilin, with a relief pattern | Prestigious tables | €0.34 to €0.42 excluding VAT |

The Linstyle range was created by Lotus Professional. It is now part of the Tork brand following the acquisition of that division by the Essity group. Dunilin is Duni's premium quality line, which remains a benchmark for non-woven napkins and tablecloths.
How is a non-woven towel made?
As mentioned earlier in the introduction to the table of leading brands, most napkin manufacturers are primarily processors: they purchase raw material in rolls from a few producers, a small number in Europe. Several brands can therefore share the same source of material. Each brand then distinguishes itself through its colors, cutting, folding, printing of designs, and packaging. Many of these processors are located in Italy, Spain, and now Asia, although transportation costs increase the final price of the napkin delivered to Europe.
