The type of microfiber mop or fringe holder

There are several types of mop holders with Velcro holders, foldable holders with clips for tab mop, pocket holders. Velcro mop holders are made up of an aluminum part or rigid plastic which can have different lengths up to 120 cm for large areas such as gymnasiums or function rooms. • Wet mopping is recommended for heavily soiled areas such as lobbies and high traffic areas. Mops used for wet mopping should have a high absorbency and be specifically designed for deep cleaning of stubborn dirt. This method is used in high traffic areas such as communities, schools, function rooms, gymnasiums, offices, etc.

Choice of fringe and type of floor

The type of floor on which you will use the microfiber mop is an important point. Different types of floors may require mop pads with different characteristics to ensure optimal grip and have easier ergonomics.
• Short pile, mostly polyester-based microfibre mops tend to glide better on smooth floors, which can be an advantage in some cases. However, they may be less suitable for rough or textured tiles and provide much less absorption.
• Microfiber fringes made mainly of microfiber offer greater absorption capacity thanks to their loop structure. The polyester part being weaker, the sliding effect is reduced. These fringes are versatile for different types of floors by offering significant absorption.
• Mixed microfibre mops combine the advantages of both by offering a compromise, having specific areas with mild abrasives. This helps improve cleaning efficiency by lifting more stubborn dirt while providing a pleasant glide on the floor.
