What is a trapeze broom used for?

A trapezoid broom is so named because it is recognizable by its particular trapezoidal shape. The creation of this support was originally initiated in a hospital environment where wet sweeping with impregnated gauze appeared. The trapezoid broom then became widely used in communities, daycare centers, cleaning companies and catering service areas, particularly with the appearance of the HaccP standard;

Types of trapeze broom

There are several types of trapeze brooms, both in terms of dimensions and coating or fixing system.
First of all you need to determine what you are going to use your broom for.
If you are using a sweep and therefore impregnated gauze, you will need to choose supports with a foam sole or flexible rubber without Velcro.
The Velcro supports are intended for attaching microfiber fringes.

Trapezoidal broom with foam sole

The use of a trapezoidal broom with a foam sole has the advantage of better adapting to the shape of the surfaces but does not guarantee perfect hygiene given the structure of the foam, which is not washable and will need to be changed regularly.
This type of trapezoidal broom will be used more in cleaning companies or in communities.

Trapezoid broom with rubber sole

This trapeze is rather dedicated to the hospital and/or medical environment (nursery, medical office, etc.). Its particularity is to be easily washable and resistant to disinfectant solutions. Some supports are sometimes compatible with passages in autoclave sterilization in order to guarantee perfect hygiene of the broom.

Trapezoid broom with spikes

This type of trapezoidal broom is dedicated to a cleaning action rather than sweeping because their rigid surface would lead to tearing the gauze. It is therefore necessary to adapt mops or abrasive squares or microfiber fringes in order to obtain this cleaning action or even manual stripping.
