What colors should be used for sorting waste in the kitchen?

Selective sorting has become mandatory and kitchen areas are no exception.
There are now wide ranges of bins in different volumes from 30 to 110 litres to deal with the different waste streams that can be found in catering.
You can choose to have only the lid colour different or the entire bin colour in one of the 4 colours allowing sorting: red, green, blue, yellow.
This colour approach allows us to address the concept of selective sorting but also possibly a concept of hygiene zone in association with colour codes used on food brushes and cloths .
