The lifespan of a refill depends on the volume (75 ml to 400 ml depending on the brand) and the diffusion frequency programmed on the device. In standard professional use (offices, restrooms), a 250-400 ml refill generally lasts 30 to 60 days.
Aerosol refill or TCell battery: what's the difference?
Aerosol refills require a propellant gas and a dedicated device, but have a lower unit cost. Rubbermaid's TCell technology operates without gas, using a fuel cell integrated into the refill, for more consistent diffusion over 30 to 90 days.
