The Rossignol range.
The Rossignol tulip basket range is available in two volumes: 35 litres and 70 litres.
We also offer a choice of 5 colours, to which can be added the possibility of manufacturing with a specific RAL colour from a few pieces.
The 30-litre range can be mounted on a wall or on a post.
For the 60-litre range, it can be fixed to the floor or simply placed on a surface.
The 60-litre range has an optional 40-litre galvanised inner bucket, reference 58061.
These technical characteristics guarantee its durability against inclement weather, climatic variations and intensive use in high-traffic areas.
Here are some tips for installing a tulip basket.
Proper installation of a tulip-shaped waste bin is a crucial step in ensuring its stability, durability, and effectiveness in waste collection. Several fixing methods are possible, each offering specific advantages depending on the context of use and the type of soil.
Anchoring the bin to the ground is the most robust and long-lasting solution . This method requires creating a concrete base into which the bin's feet are set. To install it, dig a hole approximately 30 cm deep, position the bin perfectly level , and then pour concrete around the anchor points. After a drying time of about 48 hours, the bin will have optimal stability, effectively resisting unauthorized movement and adverse weather conditions.
Installation on prepared ground
For installations on existing surfaces (paving stones, concrete, asphalt), fixing with plugs or screws is a practical alternative. The tulip-shaped wastebasket typically has three fixing points at its base, requiring screws with a diameter of 16 mm (not supplied in most cases).
This method has the advantage of not significantly damaging the existing coating and allows for possible dismantling if repositioning proves necessary.
Some tulip-shaped litter bins can also be simply placed on the ground without permanent fixing. This option, particularly suitable for temporary installations or spaces requiring frequent reconfiguration, is less recommended for areas exposed to strong winds or prone to vandalism. The substantial weight of the structure (approximately 20 kg for a standard model) nevertheless ensures relative stability.
The installation of tulip-shaped recycling bins requires particular attention to the orientation of the compartments. It is recommended to position these bins so that the different openings are easily identifiable by users, ideally facing the flow of traffic.
Pedestrian traffic. Adding supplementary signage (stickers or explanatory panels) can be beneficial to optimize the efficiency of sorting.
For installations near the sea or in particularly harsh environments, it is advisable to reinforce the protection of fixing points with specific anti-corrosion products. This additional precaution will significantly extend the lifespan of metal components in contact with the ground, which are often more vulnerable to chemical attack and moisture.
