After-sales service procedures and JVD commercial warranty

The After-Sales Service procedures are taken from chapter 6 of JVD's General Terms and Conditions of Sale, namely:

6 - JVD warranty

6.1. All items sold by JVD benefit from the legal guarantee provided for in articles 1641 and following of the civil code.
6.2. The items sold also benefit from JVD's contractual guarantee under the conditions mentioned on the product instructions and in the catalog published by the company in its updated version on the date of the order. It includes during the warranty period from the date of purchase, the total free of charge for parts and labor, carried out in our workshops, subject to compliance with the conditions indicated on the product instructions and in the catalog. .
6.3. The warranty only applies in the event of normal use of the product sold. 6.4. JVD cannot be bound by any extended warranty offered by a distributor.
6.5. Returns of devices under warranty are always carried out by the customer and at his expense. No postage due is accepted.

For any device under warranty:

• Return at the customer's expense
• The device is not exchanged but repaired
• Repair parts and labor at the expense of JVD
• Reshipment at the expense of JVD
• If the device is not repairable it will be exchanged

For any device out of warranty:

• Return at the customer's expense
• The device is not exchanged but repaired
• Repair parts and labor at the expense of the customer
• Reshipment at the expense of the customer
• If the device is not repairable then a commercial offer for a new device will be proposed
