Unger Microwipe Range:

The Unger Microwipe microfibre cloth range is classified according to criteria corresponding to the tasks to be carried out.
Microfiber cleaning tools (mops, cloths, upholstery) are distinguished by many
quality characteristics such as e.g. fibre thickness, length, finish, abrasive effect,
absorption, dimensions, edge quality, manufacturing technologies etc. Unger has established some quality criteria, which have been controlled, measured and evaluated by the independent ASTM laboratory and by other standard test methods in the USA. These criteria help the user to choose the microfiber cloth that best suits his needs.
The range is divided into 4 parts:
- Microwipe 4000 in 440 grams / m2
- Microwipe 2000 in 338 grams / m2
- Microwipe 500 in 325 grams / m2
- Microwipe 200 in 256 grams / m2

The criteria:

• Durability (wear cycles)** The higher this factor, the more the microfiber cloth can be passed over a rough surface, before becoming thin and punctured.
• Abrasive power (abrasion)** The higher this factor, the more the microfibre cloth can remove dirt and bacteria even in microscopic gaps and crevices.
• Absorption* The higher this factor, the more the microfiber cloth can absorb and retain liquids.
• Wash cycles Multiple wash cycles provide information on the longevity of the cloth through machine washes and tumble dryers before quality declines.
