How many tables can be covered with one roll?
| Roll | Recommended table | Cut length | Tables per roll (approximately) |
| 1.20 x 25 m | Table measuring 1.20 x 0.80 m | 1.70 m | 14 |
| 1.20 x 50 m | Table measuring 1.20 x 0.80 m | 1.70 m | 29 |
| 1.20 x 50 m | Banquet table 1.80 x 0.76 m | 2.30 m | 21 |
| 1.20 x 100 m | Continuous banquet rows | Row length + 0.50 m | 5 rows of 19 m, or approximately 60 place settings facing each other per row |
| 1.80 x 25 m | Round table, 1.20 to 1.50 m | 1.80 m | 13 |
| 1.80 x 25 m | Large table measuring 1.80 x 1.20 m | 2.30 m | 10 |
For a continuous row, the 100m roll eliminates the need for joins and roll changes during setup. For a round table, the pre-cut round tablecloth prevents dangling corners and saves time.
What is a non-woven tête-à-tête?
A tête-à-tête is a strip of tablecloth placed across the table between two guests seated opposite each other. It dresses up each pair of place settings like a table runner, on a bare table or over a white tablecloth. It's the most economical solution for a beautifully set table: a pack of four 24-meter rolls costs €0.47 excluding VAT per meter in white. It's pre-cut: simply detach each tête-à-tête.
Paired with a 1.20m white tablecloth, a colored tablecloth creates a two-tone setting, often used at weddings and seminars. For a paper tablecloth, which is less expensive but also thinner, see our paper tablecloth .
Airlaid, Célisoft, Dunisoft: what are the differences?
All the tablecloths on this page are made of non-woven cellulose and are for single use. They differ in feel, thickness, and price.
| Matter | Brand | To touch | Formats | Indicative price per meter (1.20 m) |
| Airlaid | Pronappe | Soft, fabric-like feel, good durability | 1.20 x 50 m, head-to-head 24 m | €0.62 to €0.82 excluding VAT |
| Celisoft | CGMP | Thick and flexible | 1.20 x 50 m, 1.20 x 100 m, 1.80 x 25 m | €0.82 to €0.97 excluding VAT |
| Dunisoft | Duni | Soft, absorbent | 1.18 x 25 m | €0.92 to €1.00 excluding VAT |
How do you cut a non-woven tablecloth from a roll?
Unroll the tablecloth on the table, mark the length, then cut with sharp scissors or a utility knife along a ruler. For large quantities, Duni electric scissors cut cleanly and quickly without tearing the material. (Corrected version of the current text.)
Is a non-woven tablecloth reusable or washable?
No. Non-woven cellulose tablecloths are for single use only: they cannot be washed. They can sometimes be reused if they are not stained, but they are not designed for that. For a washable and reusable tablecloth, choose a Spunbond tablecloth, made of non-woven polypropylene.
What is Dunisoft?
Dunisoft is Duni's airlaid quality, soft and absorbent. It carries the OK compost certification (specify INDUSTRIAL or HOME depending on the Duni certificate). It is also available as a Dunisoft sanitary napkin in the same colors.
Are these tablecloths suitable for contact with food?
Indicate here the ranges certified for food contact, with their reference, once the attributes have been harmonized (§7).
