Microfiber brush for Nilfisk Alto scrubtec 130 E and Nilfisk SC100 floor scrubbers. Width 310 mm. Sold individually.
The rotary brush is the main wear part of a floor scrubber , in constant contact with the floor during each wash cycle. This genuine Nilfisk microfiber brush is specifically designed for the Nilfisk SC100 E compact floor scrubbers, also known by their former brand name , Nilfisk Scrubtec 130E . Unlike a standard nylon brush, the microfiber version acts as a mechanized textile wetting agent : it captures dirt without damaging the floor, making it ideal for smooth, glossy, or delicate surfaces where a hard brush would leave micro-scratches. It is a particularly suitable choice for hotels, showrooms, exhibition halls, reception areas, laboratories, or areas with glazed floors.
When should you choose a microfiber brush over a nylon brush?
- Shiny and polished floors: marble, granite, terrazzo, waxed concrete, epoxy resin because microfiber preserves the shine without dulling the surface;
- Delicate floors: vitrified tiles, earthenware, smooth PVC, linoleum, vitrified parquet without risk of micro-scratches;
- Areas with high visual requirements: hotel lobbies, showrooms, exhibition halls, high-end boutiques;
- Sensitive environments: laboratories, cleanrooms, clinics, agri-food areas with smooth floors.
Conversely, for heavily soiled, porous or industrial floors (raw concrete, deep non-slip tiles, stained workshop floor), a hard nylon brush or a disc holder plate with an abrasive disc remains more suitable.
How do I know if the brush needs to be replaced?
A microfiber brush has reached the end of its lifespan when:
- the fibers appear crushed, flattened or burned;
- washing becomes less effective despite correct product dosage;
- you notice unwashed areas or uneven drying;
- the brush gives off a persistent odor that rinsing no longer eliminates;
- the fibers detach or separate from the structure.
