What is a class L vacuum cleaner and why is it important?
Class L is the first standardized category for professional dust extraction. It certifies that the vacuum cleaner retains at least 99% of harmful dust particles with an occupational exposure limit (OEL) exceeding 1 mg/m³, typically softwood dust, plaster dust, MDF dust, mortar dust, and dust from slightly abrasive concrete. It is mandatory for many construction sites, particularly when using power tools that generate fine dust (sanding, cutting, drilling). For more hazardous dust (silica, asbestos, lead), a Class M or Class H vacuum cleaner is required.
InfiniClean, the end of stopping to clean the filter
The InfiniClean system is Attix's signature technology: the filter is automatically and continuously cleaned by a pulsed jet of air, without manual intervention or stopping the machine. As a result, suction power remains constant throughout the day, even for very dusty tasks (plaster sanding, MDF cutting, wood sawing). This is what distinguishes a true professional vacuum cleaner from a DIY vacuum: with the latter, the user has to remove and tap the filter several times a day.
A controlled outlet and a SoftStart system for the workshop
The Attix 33-2L IC features a 240V socket with automatic on/off function: the vacuum cleaner starts and stops simultaneously with the connected tool (drill, sander, plunge saw, grinder). The SoftStart system gradually engages the motor to avoid power surges, which are particularly important on construction sites where multiple tools are connected to the same circuit, and to extend the motor's lifespan.
