Professional carpet cleaner methods
There are several methods for cleaning a carpet or rug
Carpet cleaner injection extraction
The cleaning of carpets called injection extraction consists of the use of a specific machine "
carpet extractor injector " (also called shampooer or detacher) whose function will be to spray the carpet or the textile with a solution of water and detergent specific non-foaming stain remover, then vacuum it up immediately. This will allow you to do good maintenance for your rugs or fabric carpets.
The carpet or textile is therefore washed/vacuumed in this way.
The product must therefore be specially dedicated to this method because its non-foaming formulation has a rapid stain removal action.
Wet Shampoo Carpet Cleaner
In this case, the product used is a foaming carpet shampoo. The product is applied using a
low-speed monobrush equipped with a
carpet brush for wet shampoo (and not dry). Unlike the previous method, there is no suction system on the
monobrush but on the other hand there is a
mechanical brushing action which will lead to greater efficiency.
Powder dry carpet cleaner
The machine used is then a
vacuum cleaner . The powder is applied to the carpet by zone then the carpet is brushed with a vacuum cleaner which will have the additional function of vacuuming the cleaning powder. This method is used in the
case of surfaces that may be soiled or treated very regularly . It has the advantage of leaving the surface
dry immediately and therefore open to traffic quickly.
Dry foam carpet cleaner
It's the same method as the wet monobrush without the disadvantages of drying time. Indeed, the monobrush is then equipped with a
foam compressor which makes it possible to work with dry foam and no longer wet. The brand with a reference know-how is the
Taski brand whose Ergodisc 165 couple and Taski foam compressor make an ideal tandem.
