What is UV disinfection?

Concept light STERILUV trilogy technology

The use of Trilogy UV LED protected technology comprising two UV LED wavelengths of which the UVC LED allows to reduce
the environmental impact of UV production compared to mercury lamps. The ignition is instantaneous and the exposure time to treat a surface is between 2 and 4 seconds. The reduced size of the device also makes it possible to offer a simple, light, compact and robust solution for easier handling and without risk for the operator.

The UV LED trilogy, combination of 3 UV LED wavelengths including UVC LED
At a wavelength of 265 nanometers, UV-C will penetrate the heart of bacterial or viral structures in order to damage nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) and thus inactivate them. The simultaneous use of the two UV LED wavelengths allows a complementary role of catalyst in the inactivation of microorganisms.

CAUTION: During use, care must be taken to wear suitable protective equipment. Never expose skin or eyes directly to radiation.
