Its flat, smooth surface easily accommodates the scale label or an ingredients label, while its transparency allows you to see the contents of your potato salad , tabbouleh , pesto pasta salad , fruit salad , or family-style chocolate mousse . At buffets and receptions , it protects food from air and handling until serving time. Its 1.3 cm profile allows for stacking of the closed bowls in refrigerated display cases.
