• It is recommended to carry out a preliminary test of the gloves, the actual conditions of use may differ from those of the "CE" type tests (in particular mechanical and/or chemical), depending on the temperature, abrasion and of degradation.
• When worn, protective gloves may offer less resistance to hazardous chemicals, due to altered physical properties. Movement, snagging, rubbing or degradation caused by contact with chemicals, etc. can significantly reduce the actual duration of use.
• For corrosive chemicals, degradation may be the most important factor to consider when choosing chemical resistant gloves. Before use, it is recommended to inspect the gloves to ensure that they do not present any defects or imperfections.
• Store the gloves in the packaging away from light, heat and humidity.
• Design performance cannot be significantly affected by aging when the gloves are stored under appropriate conditions (humidity, temperature, cleanliness, ventilation, lighting).
• Gloves should not be used near machines with entrapment risks.
• Thermal protection gloves are designed for contact of limited duration with hot parts up to 100°C for level 1 and 250°C for level 2.
• Do not put the gloves in direct contact with a flame.
• Not recommended for subjects sensitized to dithiocarbamates and/or thiazoles for nitrile or latex coated gloves.
• For gloves coated with natural latex or mixed natural latex: use not recommended for subjects sensitized to natural latex proteins and thiuram.
• Wear the gloves on clean, dry hands.
• Clean the gloves before removing them:
- Use with compatible solvents: wipe with a dry cloth.
- Use with detergents, acids, alkaline products: rinse thoroughly with running water and wipe with a dry cloth.
- Use with paints, inks: clean with a cloth soaked in the appropriate solvent then wipe with a dry cloth.
• Warning: non-recommended cleaning and use of gloves may affect performance levels.
• Allow the inside of the glove to dry and check that it is in good condition before reuse.
