The HEPA filter is what traps the finest dust particles and allergens that the vacuum cleaner sucks up, instead of releasing them back into the air. Without an effective filter, the vacuum cleaner loses suction power and may even redistribute some of the dust it's supposed to capture.
With use, even with regular washing, the filter eventually wears out and loses its effectiveness. This replacement HEPA filter, identical to the original, restores powerful suction and cleaner air.
Tip: Wash the filter with clean water. Let it dry before reusing.
