The surface to be treated must be well sanded, dry and clean, free from sanding dust, oil, wax or other greasy material. Carry out the last sanding with the Bona Buffer using the Bona Scrad System or with a grid disk grain 120 or finer.
On raw wood:
You can apply either:
- 3 to 4 layers of Bona Traffic
- 1 coat of Bona Classic, White, Amber or Intense and 2 to 3 coats of Bona Traffic
NOTE: For wood floors on edges, planks planed and parquet on heated floor, it is recommended to use a Bona Classic base coat to minimize the risk of lateral sizing.
Add the Bona Traffic hardener to the varnish in the proportions of 1: 10.
Shake for at least 15 seconds to thoroughly mix the 2 components
.
NOTE: This mixture should be used within 5 hours of preparation.
Apply Bona Traffic on a regular basis, avoiding excessive thickening or accumulation.
NOTE: In order to obtain a satisfactory result, use a roll designed for the application of a water-based varnish.
Between each application, lightly ginned with a 120 grit abrasive. The primer can be ginned using the Bonradand Scrad system.
NOTE: During application and drying of the product, the temperature should not fall below 13 ° C.
