Description

Tabs for testing frying oil. The tester is compatible with all types of frying oil or fat. For an immediate and precise reading, it is recommended to carry out the test when the oil is at operating temperature (between 160°C and 185°C).
A simple count of the number of bands that have turned from blue to yellow determines the state of degradation of the oil.
This is because when the oil degrades, the concentration of free fatty acids increases, causing more of the tester's reactive areas to gradually discolor. This discoloration begins with the area farthest from the red line and gradually affects the other areas.

It is recommended to test oil baths daily.
