What is a Softshell work jacket?

Contrary to popular belief, the concept of softshell does not designate a material as gore tex could be, but rather a technical approach in the design of clothing.

- A water-repellent property allowing water to run off along the surface.
- A variable insulating property depending on the type of clothing
