The silk broom excels on smooth indoor surfaces where the priority is to remove fine dust without damaging the floor. Its soft touch makes it ideal for offices, shops, meeting rooms, hotel lobbies, and restaurants. Unlike the stiffer coconut fiber, which is reserved for outdoor use, synthetic silk glides smoothly over surfaces and is perfectly suited to parquet and laminate flooring.

Our silk brooms are available in three main sizes: 29 cm for small spaces, 37.5 to 38 cm for versatile office and retail use, and 60 cm for halls and large areas. The standard fitting is a 24 mm screw socket, compatible with all our broom handles in natural wood, lacquered aluminum, or telescopic stainless steel. The eco-friendly models incorporate a recycled plastic frame, reducing the carbon footprint by 60% compared to conventional frames.

Maintenance and lifespan

Shake your silk mop outdoors after each use to remove accumulated dust. Avoid contact with water: synthetic or natural fibers will lose their shape when dampened and then dried flat. Always store the mop with the bristles facing upwards, hanging from a wall hook, to maintain bristle alignment. A properly maintained professional silk mop retains its performance for 9 to 15 months under heavy use, compared to 4 to 6 months for a consumer model.
