JVD hair dryer with plug for hotel rooms
The Clipper II, Brittony, and Alteo ranges feature the LightTouch handle: the hairdryer switches on with a simple press of the handle, reducing energy consumption and extending its lifespan. The Ibiza, Thalos, and Auva models operate with a traditional on/off switch. Ranging from 1400 to 1875 W, with a cool shot function and multiple speed settings, they can be stored on a wall-mounted bracket, which may also include a lock.
Wall-mounted hair dryers and pool models
For communal bathrooms, the JVD Caraïbe wall-mounted hairdryer is available with a shaver socket and/or timer. In swimming pools and aquatic centers, the Neptune and Dragon models are resistant to chlorinated environments and very high traffic.
How to choose your JVD hair dryer?
The right model depends on the installation location, the target audience, and the desired level of service. Here are some guidelines to help you choose from the JVD range.
For a hotel room or tourist residence
• Clipper II (1400 W): the economical choice, with a LightTouch handle. Compact, it offers 3 temperature settings including a cool setting and IP21 protection. It is available in white or black, with a stand or with an integrated shaver socket.
• Brittony (1600 W): pistol-grip design with ionizing system and LightTouch handle. Also available with a front stand or with a shaver socket.
• Alteo (1875 W): more powerful, with 6 drying settings and a LightTouch handle. Available in white, black, or matte black finishes, with or without a stand.
• Ibiza (1875 W): pistol format with on/off switch, 6 drying configurations, available with stand.
• Thalos (1875 W): 110,000 rpm brushless motor, ionization, only 0.45 kg and 62 dB: a high-end experience for hotels that take care of their guests.
• Auva (1400 W): aluminum body, brushless motor and ionization, for a result close to a salon hair dryer.
• Calisto (2000 W): long life brushless motor, ionization and pre-wired wall bracket, 3 year warranty.
For communal bathrooms, campsites and changing rooms
The JVD Caraïbe wall-mounted hairdryer (1000 W, IP44) is fixed to the wall, which reduces the risk of theft and damage. Made in France and repairable for 10 years, it is known for its compact size and patented nozzle. It is available in white or black, with a shaver socket for user comfort and a timer to control energy consumption. The Glow (1400 W) is the most affordable wall-mounted alternative: ionizing, quiet (63 dB), it automatically shuts off when hung up.
For swimming pools and aquatic centers
The chlorinated and humid atmosphere requires specific equipment. The JVD Neptune (2000 W) combines an induction motor, an IK10 vandal-resistant casing, an IP23 rating, adjustable height, automatic start via motion detection, and a 3-year warranty. It is available in white, blue, red, and black. The JVD Dragon (2000 W, 300 m³/h flow rate) is recommended at a ratio of one unit for every two shower cubicles. Both the Neptune and Dragon are manufactured in France and are repairable for 10 years.

Technical criteria to check
Power and airflow
Allow 1000W for occasional use and up to 2000W for rapid drying in busy areas. Airflow (m³/h) is just as important as power for drying speed.
Protection and safety rating
All JVD models are Class II (double insulated). Check the IP rating according to the installation area in the bathroom and comply with standard NF C 15-100.
Useful options: shaver socket, timer, anti-theft bracket
The shaver socket (single or dual voltage) eliminates the need for a dedicated outlet. The timer automatically switches off the device. JVD anti-theft brackets secure handheld models in bedrooms.
