What is Essence F and what is it used for?
Essence F is a light aliphatic solvent derived from petroleum distillation, historically used in French drugstores as a standard textile stain remover. Both powerful and fast-evaporating, it leaves no residue or lingering odor when applied correctly. This 1-liter bottle of Essence F is particularly popular with:
- professional dry cleaners and laundries for the pretreatment of grease stains;
- alteration shops and sewing workshops;
- upholsterers, restorers of antique chairs and furniture;
- garages, mechanical workshops and body shops to degrease textiles and leather soiled with oil or grease;
- cleaning companies that work on carpets, rugs and upholstery.
What stains can F-type gasoline remove?
Effective on oil-based stains: cooking oil, motor oil, mechanical grease, grime, wax, candle wax, light tar, oily makeup, adhesive residue, and oily ink. Conversely, it is not effective on water-based stains (wine, coffee, fruit juice) or protein-based stains (blood, egg, milk), for which other stain removers are recommended.
