Description
The CleanTrace Surface Protein Tester detects traces of protein down to 50 micrograms. The test is quick and easy to read visually, with color changes indicating the presence or absence of protein on the surface.
The test is ideal for hygiene management and monitoring the effectiveness of cleaning in high-risk areas.
Allergens tested: Egg, Peanut, Milk, Gluten, Soy.
50 tests per box.

Product Description and Use

The Neogen Clean Trace Surface Protein High Sensitivity Test detects protein residues. Test results are time and temperature sensitive. By adjusting the time and/or temperature, different detection thresholds can be achieved.
Selecting the appropriate incubation time and temperature can therefore optimize the sensitivity of the test. A 45-minute incubation at 37°C produces a sensitivity equivalent to the Ninhydrin test specified in the UK HTM2030 guidelines.

1- Place 4 drops of moisturizing liquid on the swab and take the sample*. (*if the surface is dry).
2- Insert the swab into the tube and activate the test by “clicking”.
3- Compare the color of the test to the color code integrated on the swab.
