The polyethylene used in manufacturing can be:
Virgin: petroleum-derived material, molecular structure = C2H4
Recycled: obtained after recycling (remelting) clean production scraps, yields a premium material
Regenerated: made from polyethylene waste (agricultural film and shrink or stretch packaging) which, after washing, is melted down (recycled) to obtain a reusable material
Polyethylene does not release toxic fumes during incineration.
