Description

The Barral reusable washable mask is a mask for the general public within the meaning of the Afnor Spec S76-001:2020 patronage -
Category 1 report 2020-04-07-026-50 dated 06/19/2020
This device is neither a medical device within the meaning of EU regulation: 2017/745 (Surgical masks), nor personal protective equipment within the meaning of EU regulation/2016/245 (FFP2 type filter masks).
UNS1: Individual mask for use by professionals in contact with the public. COMPATIBLE
UNS2: Collective purpose mask to protect an entire group wearing these masks. COMPATIBLE

Attention:
As of June 19, the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) no longer accepts new files (See Communication DGA).
Testing of masks, including washes, must be carried out by a competent third party.
Such testing capabilities are listed, in alphabetical order:
at CEA LITEN
at CERTAM
with CETELOR (washing only)
at the French Institute of Textiles and Clothing (IFTH) ;
within the University of Haute Alsace in Mulhouse by taking information from the Pôle Textile Alsace (PTA);

Respects the standard of 5 washes minimum to claim the notion of washable.
Validated at 50 washes by IFTH tests report 2020-04-07-026-50 of 06/19/2020(1) according to DGA protocol
Performance level:
- Material whose performance has been measured by IFTH laboratories after 50 washes (report 2020-04-07-026-50 of 06/19/2020)
- filtration efficiency of 3 µm particles > 99.9%
- air permeability for a depression of 100 Pa > 103.3 Lm-2.s-1

Washing the masks separately (do not mix with the rest of the laundry) to avoid breaking the straps.
Highly recommended washing in a separate laundry net.

This makes for a reduced cost of use compared to a disposable mask whose use is unique.
This mask is intended to reduce the risk factor of transmission of infectious agents (Virus, Flu, COVID-19,...).
Its port makes it possible to constitute a protective barrier against possible viral penetration in the mouth and nose area of its user or of a person in the vicinity.

Technical specificity of the mask:
- Evolon® EVO 40PK double layer textile
Microfilament fabrics 70% - Polyethylene Terephthalate and 30% Polyamide
- Polyethylene Terephthalate and 30% Polyamide
- Spunbond hydro bonded
- Fasteners: polyester

General public mask Made in France according to Afnor Spec S76-00 patronage, tested by IFTH laboratories according to the DGA protocol, its permeability is 152L.m-².S-1 for a depression of 100Pa (standard >96L. m-².S-1) and its filtration efficiency is 99.9% of 3µm particles emitted (standard >90%).

Area of use: This device is neither a medical device within the meaning of Regulation EU/2017/745 (Surgical masks), nor a
personal protective equipment within the meaning of Regulation EU/2016/425 (FFP2 type filter masks).
The design of this mask was established following the patronage recommendations of AFNOR SPEC S76-001 and tested on a wearer for 4 hours by us.
This mask is intended for the professional environment and is exclusively reserved for non-sanitary uses.
It is intended to prevent the projection of droplets.

This individual mask is intended to be offered to professionals who have to meet a large number of people during
of their activities (cash hostesses, law enforcement officers).

This device is not intended for use by healthcare personnel in contact with patients.
FFP2 type filtering masks and masks for medical (or surgical) use are intended to be used and reserved for healthcare personnel. The wearing time will be less and limited to 4 hours on a single day (equivalent to half a day).
The mask makes it possible to form a protective barrier against possible viral penetration into the mouth and nose area of its user or of a person in the vicinity.
Its purpose is to protect this area against any contact with the hands.
Only limited protection is claimed.
It is recommended to clean the mask before use.
The barrier mask is sized to correspond to the average morphology of the French population.

The efficiency parameter sought is the filtration capacity of the materials used for particles with a diameter of 3 microns emitted by the wearer.
This device is not intended for use by healthcare personnel in contact with patients.
Filtration efficiency greater than 90%.
Like any consumer mask, wearing time is limited to 4 hours.

Manual

Implementation:
To be effective, barrier masks must be properly used. For this, it is recommended to:
1) Wash your hands with soap and water or rub with a hydro-alcoholic solution before putting on a mask
2) For reuse of mask, make sure that it has been washed beforehand
3) Locate the top of the mask and place the barrier mask on the face,
4) Hold the barrier mask and pass the elastics of the set of straps behind the ears, and lower the bottom of the barrier mask, making sure that it covers the chin.
5) Once adjusted, do not touch the barrier mask with your hands. Each time the barrier mask is touched, the wearer must wash their hands with soap and water or exert friction with a hydro-alcoholic solution.

Withdrawal:
To avoid being contaminated when removing a barrier mask, it is recommended to:
a) remove the barrier mask by gripping the elastics of the set of flanges from behind without touching the front part of the barrier mask.
b) Place the mask in a specific container (plastic bag) clean in case it is stored in order to be washed later.
c) Wash your hands with soap and water or rub with a hydro-alcoholic solution. Clean the outside of the bag with a cleaning product.
Maintenance: the barrier mask must be washed at 60 ° C minimum, for 30 minutes, with a detergent
classic.
Fabric softener is not necessary.
Wash the masks separately (do not mix with the rest of the laundry) to avoid breaking the strips.
Washing highly recommended in a separate laundry net.
It must be dried in the open air, and can be ironed at moderate temperature (silk position).

Bonjour, Pour des raisons techniques la marque Barral ne propose pas de barrette nasal pour le moment sur ce modèle. Plusieurs commentaires le mentionnent. C'est ajouté dans le descriptif. L'absence de barrette nasal n'empêche pas la bonne utilisation du masque. Cordialement l'équipe Voussert.

Je connaissais, distribués par ma commune au déconfinement, c'est pour cela que j'en ai commandé, très fin et très léger, et tiennent aux 50 lavages ! Juste un peu surprise, plus d'impression de la marque BARRAL sur ceux-là !!!

Il n'y a pas de barrette pour le nez, le masque reste assez ouvert sous les yeux. Lorsque je porte mes lunettes, elles plaquent le masque contre le visage donc ça améliore la protection. Masques très respirables. Je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de les laver pour voir leur résistance.

Dans la catégorie masque réutilisable, c'est le meilleur! Ultra léger, lavable 50 fois. A conseiller pour ceux qui supportent mal les masques car on respire bien avec. Seul inconvénient: pas de barrette nasale donc plus de buée sur les lunettes que pour un masque jetable. Je recommande vivement.

les masques lavables ne sont absolument pas résistants: dès la première fois au bout de 2/3h un des cordons s'est détaché et ceci sur les 2 premiers masques que j'ai portés! Pour des masques lavables et réutilisables c'est inadmissible!

Ne comporte pas de barrette nasale et ce n'est pas clairement expliqué. Impossible de joindre le numéro de téléphone indiqué pour poser une question. A part ça masque léger facile à porter.
