Distributor standards
There are several types of standard which is divided into two main families:
Distributors for folded or tangled
hand towels and
distributors for hand towels in rolls (reel).
Single sheet folded hand towel dispenser
These dispensers are generally
multi-standard but here too there are different widths which will work perfectly with the standard hand towel. Indeed, there are
folds in M, C, V or Z. The width (in the depth direction to the wall) of the cartridge can therefore be different.
Choosing a hand towel cartridge too low for a dispenser intended for a V will have the effect of overconsumption because the sheets will come out in handles instead of going out sheet by sheet.
In the case of a narrow distributor provided for example for a Z, a larger cartridge will hardly fit and therefore the distribution will be hampered.
It is therefore important to take the
appropriate consumable from the distributor . It is not mandatory to take the consumable of the brand because there are many compatibilities but be careful with the type of folding that must be related to your device.
The "Tork system" standards to identify you:
Hand towel in folding Z or M is called
"system H2" Hand towel in folding C or V is called
"system H3"
The advantage of this type of device is that it is indeed multi-standard and therefore "
non-captive ".
In this case the coil is put in the device and it can be of different lengths, textures, thicknesses and width.
There are two types of devices:
Automatic cut-out distributors (autocut) and
automatic infrared cell distributors .
In the case of an
autocut device , it is the user by pulling on the sheet emerging from the hand towel which generates a mechanical and automatic cutting of the roll. Thus the user will have to carry out this gesture of "taking a hand towel" by pulling it to obtain a sheet. This system is completely mechanical and
therefore has no power supply .
A new generation of distributors equipped with detection cells has appeared in recent years. in this case the user only has to pass his hand in front of the cell so that the distributor delivers a hand towel. The main advantage is the
guarantee of perfect hygiene because in this case there is no contact between the user and the device. the only contact is between the user and the hand towel they are going to use.
On the other hand, this requires a device supplied with electricity (generally batteries) and we are often in the situation of a "captive" device which will not accept any other coil than that for which it was designed.
