What is a scrubber?
A scrubber-dryer makes it possible to
clean and strip washable surfaces and to
dry them simultaneously thanks to a suction system upstream and/or downstream of the washing brush.
Unlike a monobrush, a scrubber will therefore leave a dry surface. The irregularity of the surface can sometimes not allow an optimal aspiration which is done using squeegees.
It will therefore be necessary to combine suitable slats if the floor is necessary to ensure perfect cleaning.
What power supply for my scrubber drier?
A scrubber drier can be cord-powered or battery-powered.

Numatic , Nilfisk Alto and Taski . Choosing cable power has advantages and disadvantages over a battery-powered scrubber. First, the price of a
cable scrubber will be 20 to 35% less expensive to purchase than the same battery-powered machine. Secondly, the power supply by cable allows a greater power development and therefore to
benefit from a greater torque on the brush motor (rough or energy-hungry soil) and
from a more powerful suction . The consequence is that the machine will be noisier of course.
The only and main drawback is the lack of "freedom" of movement that a battery-powered scrubber can bring. This point must on the other hand be weighted by the fact that in 90% of cases this inconvenience is not one with regard to the layout of the premises and the presence of numerous electrical outlets.
What size scrubber should I get?
The performance of the scrubber-dryer is characterized by its working width which, to simplify, could be compared to the width of your mower. The wider the mower, the less I would have to go back and forth and therefore the higher my yield will be. In the case of the scrubber it is exactly the same principle. In fact, the invariable parameter is the forward speed, which is walking. You can then decide to run behind the machine but this is not necessarily the best idea...
The size (and therefore the size) is the second criterion. Do I have room to maneuver? Is my surface free or cluttered? These are the two criteria that will determine the choice of model. Finally, it is obvious that the budget is an important parameter that can determine the choice.
