now manufactures one of the widest ranges of indoor and outdoor garbage cans, ashtrays, sorting solutions, sanitary dispenser lines and quality equipment.
Rossignol, a centenary company
creates in the town of Montsûrs in Mayenne a traditional tinsmith making milk cans and buckets and funnels.
becomes the specialist of the coal bucket
succeeds his father and takes over the management of the artisanal company which becomes Rossignol SARL and whose vocation is then the manufacture of metallic articles for domestic use.
The company changes status and becomes Rossignol SA,
industrializes to satisfy the development of leading products in the household and collective sectors. Rossignol is
then the specialist in the pedal bin and the cabinet for household equipment.
Construction of a warehouse of 22000 m² in Brée
implements in Brée a thermoforming unit for the production of bathroom products (bathtubs and shower trays) and polyester concrete for the production of worktops.
The 1988 diversification, which Rossignol
has not been able to control, generates heavy losses for the company, which is forced to file for bankruptcy in 1992.
Didier Supper takes over the company, restructures it, establishes a new management team and completely reorganizes the markets, the products and the means of production.
Rossignol acquires Iperbois, a company specializing in wooden bathroom accessories, to become a global player in the sanitary market.
