3M Scotch Mesh Flooring Discs
| | 3M discs are specially designed for trimming etching parquet floors. This parquet disc is adaptable to all types of single disc machines. 3M Scotch-Mesh discs are thin and flexible discs, consisting of a resistant wire mesh, coated on both sides with calibrated abrasives and a resistant resin. The range consists of different diameters and different grades (abrasive grain size). |
Use on parquet but not only
3M ™ Scotch-Mesh ™ Discs are designed to be used with standard single discs for the repair of waxed or vitrified floors.
The discs are also used on marble floors for surfacing before crystallization or polishing with finer grains.
Highly resistant abrasive grains (silicon carbide) for more effective abrasion. Use on dry floors or wet floors on stone floors.
The
Janex disc comes in three sizes 330 mm, 406 mm and 432 mm.
The performance of the Janex trimming grate is:
- Excellent wear resistance
- Reusable disk
- Chemical compatibility with acids, hydrocarbons, chlorinated derivatives, phosphates, surfactants
- Large variety of grains depending on the nature of the soil to be treated.
The JANEX trimming screen disc is used: For the preparation of any type of parquet.
Tip: Test the disc on a small surface to prevent damage to the floor being treated.
The grain is available from 40 to 220 (40/60/80/100/120/150/180/220)
The 40 being the most aggressive and the 220 the finest
Each disc is marked with grain to avoid confusion
The silica carbide disc is used: The Janex Carbide Silicon disc is used for heavy sanding of wood and parquet.
It can also be recommended for stone, marble and concrete.
For use with a standard machine up to a speed of 350 rpm. Prefer a speed of 150 rpm for maximum efficiency.
Tip:
Always test the disc on a small surface to avoid damage to the floor being treated.
P16 grain
is a big grain : it is used initially to remove the maximum of material by sanding.
Then use
the smaller P24 grain to be a little less aggressive and sand more finely
