Focus on

Disposable tableware is materials

There are several types of materials in disposable tableware.
The important trend is to preserve the environment in order to limit the ecological impact of waste generated by the use of disposable.

Reminder of the concepts related to disposable

A material is biodegradable when it can decompose into various elements without damaging effects on the natural environment.
A material is compostable when under the action of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi and / or
algae) moisture, oxygen and heat, it breaks down, degrades, and, becomes humus. Composting is a natural biological process!
A recyclable material is a waste that can be reintroduced directly into the production cycle as a partial or total replacement of a new raw material.

Disposable dishes and respect for the environment

Respect for the planet and sustainable development are more and more of our concern. We continue to develop our range of biodegradable crockery making it more attractive.

Disposable crockery in fiberglass

Sugar cane pulp is the residue of sugar cane after extraction of the juice. Normally unused or burned, the bark can now be converted into biodegradable dishes. Once the sugar is extracted, the stems and the waste are recovered for industrial processing into sugar cane fiber.
This pulp is then thermomolded. This product is 100% natural and compostable.
The sugar cane fiber crockery is the optimal container for nomadic catering thanks to its high rigidity, resistance to high temperature and its impermeability to grease.

Disposable tableware made of PLA

Polylactic acid (PLA) is derived from corn starch.
From silo to resin, its production consumes 68% less fossil fuels than conventional plastics.
Products made of PLA provide almost the same benefits as plastic dishes, while being fully recyclable, biodegradable and compostable.
