The choice of the sanitary bin raises another question which is that of the possible contact between the hands and the bin.

If the user finds himself obliged to touch a lid or a bin opening mechanism with his hands, there is a risk of recontaminating the user's hands due to the cleanliness of the bin...
So yes, a lid is visually preferable and this is perfectly understandable, but this will require that in the sanitary cleaning and disinfection protocol not to forget the trash can and the lid.
The other option is then to take a trash can with an opening mechanism or foot for low traffic areas.
If you want to stay with a wall-mounted trash can then a removable Arkéa Rossignol type bin without a lid will be preferable, especially in high traffic areas.
