The Janex disc is made of a red 100% polyester backing that allows it to grip the surface. The gray part is a melamine crystal foam, a light, flexible, and slightly abrasive foam. The Janex Premium Melamine disc is used for cleaning glazed stoneware or porcelain floors. Use with a standard machine up to a speed of 200 rpm. Instructions for use: the gray or white foam is on the ground side, the red side on the machine side. Melamine being a fragile material, the disc can only be used flat without an angle of attack.
