Why choose a kitchen moccasin?

The choice of kitchen moccasin is an excellent compromise between comfort, safety, foot support and slip resistance . Indeed, agents often opt for kitchen clog type models which have the advantage of being easily removed and put on, but these sometimes remain a risk in view of their advantages.
The kitchen moccasin ensures this complete protection of the front and back foot with an incomparable hold. In addition, for several years now, the materials used have offered a comfortable and waterproof fit allowing the feet to be kept warm for long hours.

Non-slip moccasin yes, but what standard?

The kitchen moccasin exists in three standard levels S1, S2 or S3.
It is then necessary to check the slip resistance standard SRA, SRB or SRC knowing that the highest SRC (SRA + SRB).
The SRA standard takes test conditions on a ceramic plane with a lubricant composed of water and detergent. The standard values are flat > 0.32 and 7° inclined heel > 0.28.
The SRB standard takes test conditions on a steel plane with a lubricant composed of glycerin. The standard values are flat > 0.18 and 7° inclined heel > 0.13.
U-Power has therefore developed "Grip" soles incorporating a stud-type profile to improve grip, stabilizing channels to improve anti-slip performance, asymmetrical preformed heel to increase the contact and walking surface (6mm), stud-type profile on the heel to increase grip.
