Focus on disinfectant cleaner

What is disinfection?

Disinfection is an operation with a temporary result making it possible to eliminate or kill micro-organisms and/or inactivate viruses carried by contaminated inert environments.
Microorganisms are viruses, bacteria, microscopic fungi (yeasts and molds) and can be dangerous to health.
The objective is to destroy these micro-organisms which are invisible to the naked eye and which, unlike dirt, cannot be measured quickly except through surface tests.
Disinfection is only carried out using standardized disinfectant products and this within the framework of a protocol and contact time . It is only under this condition that we can thus obtain a clean surface in the bacteriological sense. The use of Spray/gel or bottles of antiseptic disinfectant therefore allows you to maintain quality hygiene on your professional equipment.

How to use a disinfectant cleaner?

A product whose spectrum is solely disinfection is only effective after a cleaning and rinsing operation (if there is grease or scale remaining, the micro-organisms are protected and the disinfectant is not used to Nothing ! ). We can cite the symbolic case of bleach which does not clean and only has a disinfecting action and above all can cause degradation of surfaces by aggression (and even the hands). Cleaning reduces the need for disinfection while increasing its effectiveness. By reducing the potential sources of proliferation of micro-organisms, the risk is reduced accordingly. The basis therefore remains cleaning before talking about any disinfection whatsoever, and it is necessary that this cleaning be part of regular maintenance of the premises. The “Disinfectant Cleaner” or “Disinfectant Degreaser” or “Disinfectant Descaler” products are mixed products which carry out 2 operations at the same time as well as saving time.
