There are two possibilities in disinfectant cleaners.
Food-grade degreasing disinfectants with an alkaline pH will have the function of simultaneously degreasing and disinfecting.
There are also food-grade disinfectant descalers whose function is to remove the limescale film present on floors and surfaces.
These two formulas are generally used alternately .
Another possibility, if your water is softened and limescale is not a problem, is to alternate with a powerful degreaser.
Application by a central cleaning and disinfection unit
The use of disinfectant cleaners in kitchens or the food industry is most often done via a central cleaning and disinfection system which will guarantee you perfect dosage (to comply with standards) and professional effectiveness.
Indeed, every disinfection standard is linked to a percentage concentration and a contact time . If either of these conditions is not met, the standard(s) displayed on the product will not be guaranteed. This is the worst possible scenario because the user believes they are meeting the specifications, which turns out not to be the case.
