Carpet extractor injector, the essential tool for professionals
Carpet cleaning can be done in many ways. The cleaning action in the sense of Sinner's circle is always based on 4 characteristics which are:
- The mechanical action (brushing in the case of a carpet or a textile)
- The chemical action (of the detergent)
- Action time
- Temperature
Methods of cleaning carpets and textiles
Professionals quite commonly use
monobrush cleaning with a
carpet shampoo brush by working "wet" .
Some, not wishing to block traffic areas, use the
monobrush method but say
"dry shampoo". In this specific case, we then work in "dry foam" so as not to over-wet the surface and thus to reopen it very quickly to traffic.
This method is essentially mastered by
Taski through its
foam compressor which remains the most efficient on the market.
In this precise case the mechanical action makes it possible to obtain a satisfactory result.
Another method of cleaning
dry carpets is the brush vacuum cleaner , the application of which consists of spreading a powder on the floor then passing the brush cleaner which simultaneously will suck up the dirt/powder mixture.
This method does not allow very deep cleaning or on very dirty floors but allows immediate recirculation of the area. It is therefore very suitable for the tertiary sector or the hotel industry, for example.
Nevertheless, even when using these two methods, professionals complete this "mechanical" cleaning by going through a carpet extractor injector .
Why an extractor injector?
Indeed, an extractor injector will not induce any actual mechanical action as a monobrush would.
There will therefore be an injection of a mixture of water and specific detergent product via a spray nozzle whose control is generally at the level of the operator's hand.
Simultaneously, the nozzle will powerfully suck up the solution injected into the fibers and there will be a deep washing effect on the textile (seat, carpet, textile, etc.).
The aspirated liquid will then be collected in a bottom of dirty water and the color of the water will definitely convince you of the usefulness of this device.
Be careful on the other hand to use a
specific detergent for extractor injector which has the characteristic of not generating foam contrary to a carpet shampoo product.
Types of textile carpet, drying
In general, if you have never used a carpet extractor injector on your substrate, it is
preferable to carry out a test on a small surface (in an angle or in an inconspicuous space). Indeed, although this is very rare, there may be incompatibilities on certain supports (color retention, unsupported fibers, unsupported glue or method of fixing the carpet, etc.).
The drying time will of course be improved if the room has good ventilation and an adequate temperature.
You can also speed up drying with a
carpet blower that will allow you to quickly clear the area of traffic.
